Jailed in Malibu when she couldn't pay a PCH restaurant bill in 2009, Mitrice Richardson, 24, was released just after midnight on Sept. 17 without her car, purse or cellphone, before her mother could pick her up. Her remains were found 11 months later, about seven miles from the sheriff's station where she was held.
